On French is a minority-veteran owned business founded by August born and raised on St.Bernard & Broad in New Orleans. August was raised by a single mother who worked over 70 hours a week to provide for her kids. August joined the Navy where he married the love of his life(Jenny) before heading to Le Cordon Bleu to pursure his dream of cooking. August drew his inspiration from both his grandmothers Gloria Parker & Mary Louise Davis. He was able to studied under Chef Ryan Vargas and Chef Ray Neagen of New Orleans. It's been his life long dream to open a kitchen to showcase his love for food and New Orleans culture. August have a dream to provide opportunity for all aspiring cooks to receive a competative wage and opportunity to help lead them into entrepreneurship.
